BOSSES of a Midland furniture company which had lost £40,000 worth of stock discovered it was being sold on eBay, a court heard.
Police then tracked down the seller who said he had bought the goods at a car boot sale, Birmingham Crown Court was told.
Judge Rupert Mayo told Craig Lowe, aged 39, who had admitted handling stolen goods: “This is quite a sophisticated offence because it involved setting up and using an eBay account.”
He gave Lowe, of Tennal Drive, Harbourne, 36 weeks
