Weltauto used car sales fall more than 5% in 2010

Weltauto, the used car division of Porsche Hungaria, made 6,487 sales in 2010, down 5.6% from the previous year, Weltauto told MTI.
The drop was about the same as for the national market, Weltauto said. Hungarians bought or sold 420,764 used cars in 2010. In 2009, used car sales plunged almost 20% country-wide.
The proportion of used cars sold that were more than ten years old rose to 43% in 2010 from 38% in 2009 and 34% in 2008.
