(CBS News) Department of Transportation (DOT) was to hold hearings Wednesday on a safety issue experts say leads to 50 children being hit by cars per week. It happens when people back up their cars into a child, and it often happens in the car owner's very own driveway.The DOT is calling for a new law that would require that back-up cameras be made standard equipment on all motor vehicles by 2014.
